Coarse Seperating Zone

After passing through the inlet flow distribution system, the wastewater flows into the coarse separationg zone. This area allows large oil droplets and heavy solids to separate. This zone is important for many reasons: 1) to further equalize and quiet the flow, enabling the entire Entry Area of the coalescer to receive well distributed flow; 2) to reduce the oil and solids loading entering the coalescer; and 3) to provide space for future up-grades.
